21st Century India Youth Perspective on STEM
India is a country of extreme potential. With huge Demographic in her basket, the
Country is leaping forward towards becoming a global power. But to be a Developed
country from Developing country we have to board the bus of STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathamatics ). The Education system of the western
world which was devised to make the kids ready to work in industry is still being
continued. India should start emphasizing on a plan that lays importance on Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathamatics. India is faring well in service sector. But
the core areas of STEM are neglected. Innovation is a rare sight in India. The youth
interested in research are not provided with proper opportunities. Technology
can make humanity prosperous with proper human intervention. We the Youth of
India are falling back in picking this trend of STEM. The youth should invest efforts
intaking up research and innovation in fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics. The world is getting better and smarter every day. With every possible
information at our doorsteps, proper utilization of the resources will put India in high
esteem in coming decades.
